Use this guide when

Automating Google Business Profile review requests and choosing between Direct and Feedback filter modes.

Best practice

Trigger review requests 1–2 hours after job completion while client satisfaction is freshest.

Watch for

In Direct-to-Google mode, no private negative feedback is collected; all users route straight to Google.

01

Connect your Google Business Profile

  1. Go to Automations → Reviews and paste your Google Business Review link.
  2. Set the automated trigger: e.g. 2 hours after a job is marked Completed.
  3. Choose your Review Routing Mode.
02

Understand the two review modes

  • Direct-to-Google Mode: Sends the customer straight to your public Google review page. NOTE: In this mode, no private negative feedback is intercepted or collected; all users go directly to Google.
  • Private Feedback Filter Mode: Asks the customer a 1–5 star satisfaction question first. 5-star ratings route to Google; lower ratings open a private owner feedback form.

Completion check

Confirm before moving on

Use these checks to make sure the dashboard and the real-world workflow agree.

Troubleshooting
