At a glance

Use this guide when

Work has been sold and you need to coordinate execution, assign crew, track milestones, and log job costs.

Best practice

Log labor hours and material receipts directly into the job workspace as they occur to monitor gross margins.

Watch for

Deleting a job cannot be undone and permanently erases all logged costs, time records, and milestone history.

01

Monitor live project progress

  1. Open any active Job to view customer contact info, job site address, scope notes, and milestone checklists.
  2. Review field technician time entries and material receipts logged from the road.
  3. Generate change orders or progress invoices as project phases complete.
02

Job deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

WARNING: Deleting a job cannot be undone. Deleting a job hard-deletes the job file, milestone history, scheduled crew appointments, and all logged job costs and material records. If you only want to close out work, mark the job as Completed or Cancelled instead.

Completion check

Confirm before moving on

Use these checks to make sure the dashboard and the real-world workflow agree.

  • Job milestones, site address, and customer contact info are current.
  • Assigned crew members can see the job in their mobile field app.
  • Direct costs and receipts are logged against the job file.

Troubleshooting

When the workflow doesn’t look right

A job was accidentally deleted.

Job deletion cannot be undone. Linked historical Stripe payment records remain in Payments for accounting, but the job file must be re-created if needed.
