Generate, print, or send an invoice from job scope

  1. Click "Create Invoice" from the job file or Invoices workspace.
  2. Scope items, materials, and approved change orders populate automatically with previous deposits deducted.
  3. Apply sales tax percentage or promo discounts as needed.
  4. Click "Send Invoice" to deliver the payment link via SMS and email.

Track invoice status in real time

  • Draft: Editable invoice being prepared.
  • Sent: Delivered to customer; awaiting payment.
  • Overdue: Past due date; automated reminder sequences activate.
  • Paid: Funds collected and credited to job accounting.

Confirm before moving on

Use these checks to make sure the dashboard and the real-world workflow agree.

  • Invoice line items, sales tax, and previous deposits reconcile accurately.
  • Payment link is delivered via SMS and email to the customer.

Troubleshooting

When the workflow doesn’t look right

Customer cannot open the invoice payment link.

Resend the invoice link from the invoice action menu or copy the payment URL directly.
