At a glance

Use this guide when

Projecting 30-day company revenue, tracking in-transit Stripe deposits, and managing supplier cash needs.

Best practice

Review cash flow forecasts weekly to align material purchases and payroll with expected payout dates.

Watch for

Assuming completed work equals cash before invoices are sent and paid.

01

Understand the cash flow forecast model

  1. Open Reports → Cash Flow to inspect projected 30-day inflows and outflows.
  2. Inflows project confirmed deposits, active stage invoices, and scheduled job completions.
  3. Outflows project crew labor costs and supplier material expenditures.
02

Monitor payout transit timing

The transit pipeline displays funds currently in flight from Stripe to your bank account, highlighting exact expected deposit dates.

Completion check

Confirm before moving on

Use these checks to make sure the dashboard and the real-world workflow agree.

  • Projected inflows reflect signed quotes and pending milestone invoices.
  • In-transit Stripe deposits display expected bank arrival dates.
  • Cash flow trends are reviewed before committing to major equipment investments.

Troubleshooting

When the workflow doesn’t look right

A completed job does not show in cash flow inflows.

Verify that an invoice has been generated and sent for the completed job.
