Master switch location on Automations page
The customer portal master switch is located on the Automations page (/dashboard/automations#client-portal), not under general Settings. Toggling this master switch off immediately and permanently strips the "Client Login" button from your live public website header.

Passwordless magic link security
Homeowners sign in using passwordless email or SMS magic links. There are no forgotten passwords to reset, and client session tokens expire securely after inactivity.

- Customer Portal master toggle is turned on in Automations (#client-portal).
- Client Login link is visible and functional in the live website header.
- Homeowner can sign in via passwordless magic link to view quotes and pay invoices.
Troubleshooting
When the workflow doesn’t look right
Client Login button is missing from website.
Open Automations (/dashboard/automations#client-portal) and ensure the Customer Portal master toggle is enabled.
Customer cannot open portal link.
Send a fresh magic link directly from the client profile page in your dashboard.
