At a glance

Use this guide when

Organizing tomorrow’s field schedule, balancing workload across trucks, or communicating site instructions to crew.

Best practice

Review drive times between job sites and provide gate codes and parking instructions in job notes.

Watch for

Unpublished schedule changes will not sync to technician mobile devices.

01

Organize daily technician routes

  1. Open Schedule in Day view to inspect overlapping appointments and geographic clusters.
  2. Drag and drop jobs to balance workload across available crew leads.
  3. Review travel times and buffer windows between job sites.
02

Dispatch and notify field workers

Publishing the schedule syncs assigned jobs directly to the crew field portal at /field, giving technicians one-tap driving directions and customer access instructions.

Completion check

Confirm before moving on

Use these checks to make sure the dashboard and the real-world workflow agree.

  • Technicians have balanced daily route assignments.
  • Job site access notes, gate codes, and customer phone numbers are verified.
  • Schedule is published and synced to the /field mobile app.

Troubleshooting

When the workflow doesn’t look right

A technician cannot see today’s dispatched job.

Verify the technician is assigned as an active crew member on the job and that their field app is synced.
