At a glance

Use this guide when

You are setting up the account, adding a location, moving, rebranding, or correcting information customers see.

Best practice

Treat legal, service-area, reply-to, and public website details as separate facts and verify each at the source.

Watch for

Using a mailing address as a service location can distort routing, booking, and customer expectations.

01

Enter shared business details

  1. Go to Settings → Business and enter your public business name, phone, email, and website.
  2. Upload a high-resolution company logo for display on customer quotes, invoices, and the portal header.
  3. Set your primary operating timezone so automated messages and calendar slots sync accurately.
02

Keep legal and physical addresses accurate

Your physical mailing address is used for 10DLC carrier registration and anti-spam footer compliance on marketing emails. Ensure your legal business name matches IRS records.

Completion check

Confirm before moving on

Use these checks to make sure the dashboard and the real-world workflow agree.

  • Business name, contact details, trade, and timezone match current operations.
  • Every active location has a correct address and service purpose.
  • Public website and message details were previewed after the change.

Troubleshooting

When the workflow doesn’t look right

Address changes do not appear on past invoices.

Past invoices preserve historical legal records; newly created invoices and quotes will reflect the updated business profile.
