At a glance

Use this guide when

A lead looks promising, details are missing, or you need to decide between a fast phone estimate and an on-site visit.

Best practice

Ask the minimum qualifying questions that determine fit before spending time on complex estimates.

Watch for

Fast responses win jobs, but skipping address or scope verification can lead to under-quoted proposals.

01

Review scope and AI intake details

  1. Open the lead card to review homeowner description, job address, uploaded photos, and budget expectations.
  2. Check the automated trade and urgency tag generated by Smart Intake.
  3. Send a fast clarifying text directly from the lead drawer or click the phone number to call.
02

Progress to an estimate or on-site visit

When qualified, Owners can convert the lead to a quote draft or book an on-site estimate visit directly from the lead action menu.

Completion check

Confirm before moving on

Use these checks to make sure the dashboard and the real-world workflow agree.

  • Customer identity, service location, and core scope are documented.
  • The lead has a clear status and assigned team member.
  • Next step is booked or communicated with the homeowner.

Troubleshooting

When the workflow doesn’t look right

SMS reply fails to send.

Verify the customer provided a valid mobile number and confirm your workspace has available text credits.
