Save the business dispatch number in mobile contacts
- Open Text-to-Job Dashboard and copy your business texting number.
- Save the contact in your iOS or Android phone as "Job Intake".
- Use Siri or Google Assistant for hands-free voice dictation while driving.

Dictate core job updates from the road
- Change Orders: Text "Add $450 to Miller job for extra 12/2 Romex" to stage an estimate change order.
- Milestones & Notes: Send a voice memo "Rough plumbing passed on Elm St" to log an audit timestamp.
- Receipt Photos: Snap a photo of a supply house register receipt to OCR itemize material costs.
- Punch List Tasks: Dictate checklist to-dos to push items directly to the crew field app.

Confirm what was filed, and correct a mistake
Every accepted update texts a confirmation back to the sender, so you can check what was filed without opening the dashboard. Updates file to the job timeline on receipt and are not held for approval.
There is no revert-by-text. To fix a mistake, text a follow-up note describing the correction — it appends to the same timeline — then edit the underlying cost, task, or lead in the dashboard.

Use these checks to make sure the dashboard and the real-world workflow agree.
- Owner and crew mobile numbers are authorized in Settings.
- Dispatch number is saved in mobile contacts for Siri / Assistant dictation.
- Test voice memo and receipt photo process successfully and return a confirmation text.
Troubleshooting
When the workflow doesn’t look right
Text-to-Job does not recognize your phone number.
Add your mobile number to the Authorized Phone Numbers list in Settings.
Dictated change order had a typo.
Text a follow-up note with the correction, then edit the amount on the job in the dashboard. Texting cannot revert a filed update.
