Quick Stops

Quick Stops lets nearby customers pay a fee to be fitted in sooner than your normal schedule. You review every request, choose the arrival window and the priority visit fee, and accept only when it fits your route. The fee reserves the visit and is paid before you go; the work itself is quoted and invoiced as usual.

Where Quick Stops can fit todayExample

A Quick Stop is only ever offered when you're already working nearby and the day has room for it.

6 miles is the outer limit. What actually decides it is the minutes a detour adds.

What has to be true

  • They're within 6 miles of somewhere you're already working
  • There's an open window left in the day
  • They asked before your 2 PM cutoff
  • You haven't already hit 2 stops

Then you decide. You set the arrival window and the fee, and nothing is charged or booked until you accept.

Last 90 days

Is this worth having on?

Both halves, because only one of them is flattering. 42 people asked, you took 27 of them (64%), and the 15 you turned away are listed too — a panel that only counts the wins cannot tell you whether your radius is wrong.

Fees earned$1,323On top of the work itself — these are stops that were already on your way.

Why the other 15 did not happen

Outside your radius 6Asked after your cutoff 5Day was already full 3Too big for a stop 1

Six outside the radius and five after the cutoff is the shape of a setting that is slightly too tight, not of a feature nobody wants.

Before it reaches you

What gets screened out

  • Anything that is not a stop — “regrade the whole backyard” is a quote, not a fifteen-minute visit. It comes back as a normal lead instead of a refusal.
  • Anything unsafe or out of trade — gas, live electrical, anything needing a permit. The screen is deterministic, so the same request is always answered the same way.
  • Anything that would break the day — past your cutoff, outside the radius, or a day already at 2 stops. The customer is told immediately rather than left holding a card.

Money is only taken once you accept. Until then it is an authorisation you can let go, and the customer can cancel it themselves. See where a stop lands on the route →
